These rules are made to protect you, your neighbors and the building – it is in the interest of everyone that the building remains neat and tidy, that we maintain good neighborship and show consideration for one another.

Your room and the common areas:

  • All shared areas must be kept clean by the people using them. Common areas (kitchen, bathroom, corridor) must be cleaned at least once a week. The tenants must make a plan/schedule for the cleaning, all tenants must participate. In case the common areas are not cleaned properly, the landlord may hire a company to clean on the tenant’s expense.
  • The ventilations in the bathroom must be cleaned regularly.
  • The drains must be cleaned regularly (the shower and the sink in kitchen and bathroom) to avoid blockage of pipes and drains. Any leaks or damage must be reported to the janitor.
  • It is important to ventilate the rooms on a daily base – open the windows 5-10 minutes a couple of times.
  • When moving out: All personal belongings must be removed. The room must be cleaned (Walls. Floor, ceiling, windows and the furniture). The common areas must be cleaned too.
  • If a tenant wants to have anything installed or mounted – on their own expense – they must inform the landlord and wait for his accept.
  • Everybody must clean up after themselves – in the common areas inside as well as the basement and in the garden.
  • There is a dryer and drying rack in the basement. It is not allowed to dry clothes in the rooms or the common areas inside.
  • The tenant can be held responsible for damages caused by misuse of machines or breaking of anything in the common areas.
  • Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited – in the rooms as well as in the common areas.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • It is prohibited to use any kind of heating other than the radiators in the rooms.
  • All access doors and door to the basement must be kept locked.
  • The landlord does not take responsibility for tenant’s belongs. This includes damages caused by fire, water, break-in or similar. Make sure you have an insurance. Please remember to lock your doors and windows before leaving the building.
  • Grill: Use of grills is prohibited within 5 meters form buildings. The rules in “Bekendtgørelse om brug af åben ild og lys” Must be followed.
  • We hope you will respect the other residents. Therefore, loud music or loud behavior in the building is prohibited between 22:30 and 07:00 o’clock from Sunday to Thursday.
